Upper Intermediate Norwegian 4
UPPER INTERMEDIATE NORWEGIAN 4-ONLINE
This class is designed for students who are comfortable reading and communicating orally in Norwegian at a beginning/lower intermediate level, and who are serious about taking the next step in their Norwegian language learning journey. Unlike other MNLCP classes, we will use Stein på stein, the primary curriculum used in Norway to build language competency among intermediate learners for whom Norwegian is not a first language, to guide learning.
Through weekly written assignments students will deepen their understanding of essential linguistic and cultural knowledge and also increase skills related to reading, speaking and listening. Instruction is conducted primarily in Norwegian and will challenge students to demonstrate their learning both orally and through writing. This class is recommended for those who have completed Intermediate Norwegian 5 and above, or the equivalent and who are committed to spending time on their Norwegian studies outside of class.

Bienes historie- ONLINE
BIENES HISTORIE- ONLINE
Bienes historie is a best-selling novel that combines three intertwining stories about relationships between parents and children, grief and vulnerability. William is a melancholic biologist and seed merchant in England in 1852. He sets out to build a completely new type of beehive that will bring honor and fame to both himself and his children. George is a beekeeper in the USA in 2007 and is fighting against the odds, but he hopes his son can be the farm's saviour. Tao works with hand pollination in a future China where the bees have disappeared. She wants more than anything else for her son to get an education and a better life than herself. This class is intended for learners who seek a challenge and desire to actively engage in their learning through speaking, reading and writing.
